Rennet & Rind is an award-winning Cheesemonger based in Cambridge, sourcing & maturing outstanding artisan cheese for more than 30 years and home to our finest selection of British artisan cheese, made by small independent cheesemakers on the farm and lovingly aged in our maturing rooms.
We are pleased to say that we're good friends with many our British farmhouse cheesemakers, working very closely with them to understand the challenges they face and what makes our cheese so great, regularly visiting the farm to see the cheese being made and where all that wonderful flavour comes from.

British Isles regional farmhouse cheese was a rich chapter in our heritage before the 1920's, being home to 1000s of cheeses, but by the 1950s we were left with around 100 cheeses.
Over the last 30 years we’ve witnessed a cheese revolution in this green and pleasant land of ours and since ‘The Great Cheese Renaissance’ of the 1970s we’re now making over 750 cheeses, overtaking our French cousins at the World Cheese Awards by making astonishingly good artisan cheese.

Mark & Perry are Affineurs and World Cheese Award Judges with more than 40 years' experience between them. After batch selecting with the Cheesemakers, they continue to lovingly age the cheese in our maturing rooms, developing the flavours, textures, and aromas, to enhance the individual character of each cheese so that it reaches you at the peak of perfection.

We deliver online orders to the mainland UK via courier for a minimal charge.
For deliveries outside of mainland UK there are additional charges.
